Jones is a potential high pick athletic SS/RHP who really looks the part of a MLB prospect. He has a lean body with room for more strength. He has some serious MLB tools to go with it. He's a plus runner with excellent instincts. He's a smooth field with outstanding actions and body control. He has a big plus arm from shortstop or the mound. His arm action is loose, quick and very fluid. He shows excellent bat speed with a pretty swing from both sides of the plate. Looks like power potential, especially from the right side. He looked very impressive at 3B in case anyone contemplated a move from shortstop. Oh yea, he throws in the low 90s from the mound too. He could easily become a top round pitching prospect. If you add all this up, you have one very special, talented athlete. A good Spring with the bat and he could go real early in June. He has first round tools! and appears to have great makeup.
