Jayce Riden is a 2027 RHP/IF, OF, UT with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Snoqualmie, WA who attends Mount Si. Features a long/athletic frame with present projection. Ran a 7.63 60-yd dash. In the INF, he exhibited solid defensive actions. Showed clean glove/hands and footwork with GBs right at him and to the forehand side. Some stiffness to the backhand side. Arm flashed above avg. strength within a longer path that ran it up to 80 mph across. At the plate from the left side, he sits in a wider open stance. Uses a smaller forward move/stride as hands load the barrel to a flatter launch. Back shoulder and elbow slot the barrel early for a more uphill path through. Cuts the swing off at times post impact. Some inconsistent timing throughout his round but did barrel a few into the right center gap. Exhibited avg. bat/hand speed for his level. On the mound, he side steps into a belt high knee lift. More pushy off the rubber but lands in-line. Arm works loose and continuous to release at a ¾ slot flashing some above avg. armspeed. Worked fast throughout his two innings. Ran the fastball up to 78 mph flashing some natural cut. Mixed in a mid 60s breaker that showed shorter action and a developing upper 60s changeup.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
