Hayden Denney is a 2027 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Allen, TX who attends Allen. Compact, medium frame with present strength in both halves of a proportioned build. Ran a 7.56 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, flashed solid lateral range, game like throws with some arm strength, solid first step, gets to his spot well, solid angles, two hand gather working up the middle, developing feel to change slots. Secondary right-handed pitcher, syncs levers well in a simple and repeatable delivery, quick belt high leg lift, uses a slidestep in the stretch, solid depth to 12/6 curveball, drops arm behind back leg before coming through to a three-quarters slot release, solid arm and feel to sequence. Right-handed hitter, open stance with hanging leg lift trigger, showed double toe tap, fires hands some, level swing path, pull-side approach, developing timing and consistency with the swing.
