Colton Whitney is a 2028 3B/SS with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Florence, MS who attends Florence High School. Colton ran a 7.80 Sixty Yard Dash. Primary corner infielder with a medium athletic frame with room for additional strength down the road. Creating some quickness laterally presenting the glove early with a clean two handed funnel into a quick glove to hand transfer. Whitney comes from a high 3/4s arm angle showing some length through the backside with accurate throws across the diamond. Right handed hitter in the box with a medium even foot base. The hands start on the shoulder and rotate into slot at trigger working a short stride into contact. The front foot gets down early while presenting developing bat speed through the zone with an all fields approach.
