Ethan Yankowsky is a 2028 OF/RHP with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Fountain Valley, CA who attends La Mirada. Features a wiry build with room to add. Ran a 7.90 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder. Showcased fundamental footwork into the catchpoint. Fields off to the side and works through the baseball. Stays athletic and creates momentum into a clean release. Showed accurate, on-line throws, reaching 76 mph during workouts. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a slightly open stance with a leg lift timing mechanism. Swings on a direct path. Can get long at times. Showed the ability to handle the barrel. Continuing to develop path consistency and overall bat speed should allow for more impact off the barrel. Right-handed pitcher. Uses a semi-windup delivery with tall and fall mechanics. Fairly low effort operation. Throws from a 3/4 slot with a short arm action. Fastball sat 72-74 mph with some armside run. Paired it with a short slider and changeup with slight fade. Looks to attack the zone with the ability to work ahead. Can generate contact and get efficient outs.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
