Tripp Morris is a 2029 RHP/MIF/OF with a 6-2 145 lb. frame from Madison, AL who attends Sparkman. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, leaner build with plenty of room to fill moving forward. Ran a 7.28 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, side step into a mid-chest knee lift, long and loose arm action through the backside working to a three-quarters release. Does a nice job of utilizing length to create extension out front, can implement additional lower half into drive; fastball topped out at 79 mph, some life through the zone when on time. Slider showed nice depth and life through the zone when extended out front, able to land for strikes consistently. Similar arm stroke in the outfield, energetic actions on the approach, ball comes out of hand cleanly and shows athleticism in actions. Young actions in the infield and will continue to refine, deliberate tempo and shows carry on throws across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, begins with a medium base and a lower hand set in the box, loads weight on the backside at start. Direct and level stroke through the zone, remains linear and worked comfortably to the middle of the field. Hands stay tight in swing, can implement additional lower half weight shift moving into contact.
