Austin Junk is a 2028 C/OF with a lean 5-11 170 lb. frame from Redondo Beach, CA who attends Loyola HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.25 60-yard dash. A primary catcher that has a high set up position. Showed clean catch and throw mechanics delivering the baseball online and firm to second base with a 2.16 POP time. Throws from the ear and gets the ball going downhill. Offensively, he demonstrated he could square the ball up with some consistency and drive it with a compact swing path. Has a blend of solid strength and bat speed for his age. Really good BP round. Excellent student.
