Patrick McDowell is a 2027 RHP/3B/MIF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Newnan, GA who attends Northgate. Lean young build with long arms and legs and plenty of projection remaining. Works from a simple side step delivery, stays compact and repeats, stays on top of the ball well with a clean arm action. Threw both a four-seam and two-seam fastball to good effect and threw strikes with it. Slider was a solid pitch with shorter cutter type action. Had some good young feel for his change up. 7.66 runner in the sixty. Secondary infielder on defense, showed his athleticism well moving through the ball and showing his footwork and glove work. Left handed hitter, sets up in an even upright stance with a rushed leg raise timer and a short and direct swing path, handles the barrel well and made solid line drive contact to all fields. Good student. Named to the PG National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Presented by GEICO Top Prospect List.
