Landon Ray is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Palm Harbor, FL who attends Palm Harbor University. Medium athletic build with some present strength. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide crouched over start, low hands to start his swing, rotational swing, flashes some hand quickness, hits to all fields. 7.81 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, moves well to the ball and fields the ball cleanly out front, long and extended arm action on his throws. Also pitched, slow paced deliberate delivery with a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was in the upper 70's consistently with some sink at the plate, threw strikes with his fastball. Occasionally turned over his fastball for a change up effect, also mixed in a soft curveball. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
