Braden MacNeil is a 2027 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Ashburn, VA who attends Riverside. Good frame with broad shoulders, lean wiry muscularity and plenty of room to add physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.41 seconds. Primary position RHP, working from the 1B side of the rubber and using belt high leg lift. Shorter stride as he works through a full inline arm path and accelerates through a low 3/4 arm angle. Fastball up to 80 mph with some interesting spin traits. Spins a real slider in the upper-60s and showed elite rpms up to almost 2,600 at times. Projection at this spot for sure. Secondary position outfielder, working methodically to the ball as he rounds off his angles. One hand gather at the midline as he transfers into a medium offline arm path up to 82 mph back to the infield. LHH working from a wide and upright stance, good handset and heel lift trigger. Bit of a hitch in his hand path to the ball causing him to work the bottom of the ball here and there but when on plane showed nice line drive impact to the pull side. More to come from the power side of things as well. Elite student too.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
