Aydan Smith is a 2027 2B/C/RHP with a 5-6 107 lb. frame from Graham, NC who attends River Mill Academy. Slender young build. 9.51 runner in the sixty. Worked out in the infield and behind the plate, gets the glove down early and fields the ball cleanly, long and loose arm action, lower half quickness will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Also went behind the plate, sets up low and has some lower half flexibility, similar long arm action as in the infield, repeated his footwork well. Right handed hitter, hits with a turned in front foot load, throws his hips aggressively, gets the barrel out front well, hits to all fields with some barrel control. Also pitched, works from the stretch from a high hand start, long off line arm action, tends to stride open out front. Did a good job of throwing strikes with a fastball up to 63 mph and a short slider. Good student.
