Nathan Jackson is a 2028 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Columbia, IL who attends St. John Vianney. Long and lanky young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.43 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, plays well on the move and charges the ball well, good glove with soft hands, has some arm strength with more to come, tends to bend at the waist and can play lower to the ground. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight bent knee stance with a toe tap timer, relaxed low hand set up, pretty short and direct swing, high contact approach that uses all fields, can create some back spin and jump when he gets out front, good base to build from as he gets stronger. Took a turn on the mound, has a high leg raise delivery with good drive down the mound from his lower half, medium length arm action with a 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, mixed in both a curveball with 12/6 downer shape and a pretty solid change up and challenged hitters with strikes.
