Matthew Warren is a 2028 3B/RHP/SS with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Mobile, AL who attends Ums-Wright Prep. Tall, lean build with a lot of time to continue adding strength onto the frame. Primary third baseman, glove gets down late, works around the ball with quick footwork, worked best to his right, backhand was solid. Limited lateral mobility, young arm strength, developing accuracy. Recorded throws across up to 69 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively from the stretch, simple drop and drive mechanics, front foot lands on line with the plate, belt high leg lift, medium length arm stroke, high three-quarters slot. Gets some sink on the fastball, up to 70 mph (2043 RPM), flashed a changeup with typical fading action, up to 62 mph (1778 RPM). Ran a 7.75 sixty-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, slightly open front side, medium and even base, toe tap trigger stride, works hard to get the barrel inside the ball, one handed finish. Got extended at times, impacted the ball to the middle of the field.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
