Liam Walters is a 2027 SS/2B/OF with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Bethpage, NY who attends Bethpage. Walters works from a young lean build with plenty of room to fill out and physically develop as a '27 prospect. Starting as a primary SS, he displayed a clean funnel with reliable glove work, flashing refining accuracy across the diamond up to 71 mph. From the OF, showcased a full deep arm action and repeated the release point well up to 70 mph. On the offensive end, Walters worked from both boxes, starting from the right side where he kept the bat path level through the zone and produced consistent contact to the middle of the field. From the left side, started from a wider base with a compact hand set, generating line drive impact with flashes of backspin. Posted an exit velo of 73 mph. Ran a 7.39 sixty yard dash. Great student.
