Jenna Mintle is a 2023 1B/C, OF from Grinnell, IA who attends Grinnell. A sound athlete behind the dish, Jenna showed her athleticism behind the plate and in the field. Her footwork from the squat were quick and efficient, she is a player that does a great job minimizing her steps behind the plate and get the ball out of her glove and to second efficiently. Does a great job generating velocity behind the ball and keeps the ball on line. Offensively she is a triple threat at the plate. She is a lefty Stand in and slapper. Keeping the defense off balance with her ability to punch the ball through the infield but also does a good job standing in and making solid contact on both halves of the field. Jenna is a great athlete with a lot to offer both offensively and defensively. I am excited to see what she does going into her senior season.
