Right handed hitter, starts from a wide base with a high hand load and a big leg raise trigger, gets the foot down on time, inside line drive swing path, good swing that projects as he continues to get stronger. 8.14 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up square, has good direction and footwork into his throws, developing arm strength, can anticipate his transition to throwing more aggressively. Also worked out in the infield with third base actions. Took at turn on the mound, throws with good pace, tends to fall off on release, throws from a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball sat in the low 70's, still developing feel for his release point on his off-speed pitches.
