Drew Markey is a 2026 RHP/3B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Alexandria, VA who attends Bishop O'Connell. Big and strong for his age, especially in his hips and thighs. Big side step start to his delivery, throws from the first base side of the rubber, slow to fast mechanics, compact arm action that hides the ball well. Fastball worked in the low 80's, pitch got on hitters well due to his deception, created arm side run down in the zone, tended to straighten when up or glove side. Threw two different shapes of breaking ball, created good spin and some depth on both, also mixed in a rare change up. Threw lots of fastball strikes and had a solid outing. Very good student.
