2024 Ohio Valley Workout Showcase (Wed.)
Eli Hilling is a 2027 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Princeton, WV who attends Pikeview. Young athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength, projects well physically. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a simple short stride into contact, barrel wrap load creates some length, works through the ball with his lower half, still developing his timing consistency, looking to pull the ball but made all field content. 7.51 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, good athletic actions to the ball, gets the glove down early and works hard to get behind the ball, long and loose arm action with nice carry on his throws. Did not pitch at this event but has shown promise on the mound at prior events, up to 83 mph with his fastball, arm worked well in the infield. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
