Hudson Lovell is a 2027 C/RHP/3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Morton, IL who attends Morton. Strong young build. Right handed hitter, starts from a straight wide base, has a short under control swing, has some strength in his swing and showed some juice off the barrel when squared up, best contact to left center field. 7.34 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up square, comes out of his crouch well and has lower half quickness, gains ground well into his throws, solid arm strength with on line carry, can improve and shorten his transfers. Also worked out in the infield with third base actions, showed his arm strength there as well, fields the ball cleanly and gets his glove down early. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
