Jacob Diaz is a 2026 OF/LHP with a 5-8 120 lb. frame from Sparta, NJ who attends Sparta. Medium current frame with lean muscularity and a lot of time to add overall. Primary position OF, working deliberately to the ball and using two hand glove work out front. Midline transfer to shallow offline arm path creating throws up to 70 mph to bags. Solid accuracy. Secondary LHP, working from the stretch only and using quick leg lift to belt with inward turn to load. Rotates through the front side aggressively and a bit early at times. Hand break at chest into inverted arm circle into 3/4 arm angle. FB up to 73 mph with sinking type spin. Bigger CB with rolling vertical shape in the low-50's that needs some firmness. LHH working form a slightly open stance and one front foot. Down hill path with good hands and looseness through contact. Gets around the ball at times but contact is solid and loud when in the middle of the field. Young athlete showing tools and is a very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
