2022 Florida Workout Showcase (April 29)
Nelson Rodríguez is a 2025 3B/IF, OF with a 5-7 175 lb. frame from Hallandale Beach, FL who attends ABF. Shorter height with some current strength, room to fill as he matures. Ran an 8.30 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, stays low and balanced with a wider base. Good uses of the hands out front and had some timing with the glove. Low slot throws that should play on the right side of the diamond. A right-handed hitter, starts balanced and slightly open. Heel lift trigger with a simple and quiet load. On time through out with good extension while looking to pull the ball. Excellent student.
