Destin Faile is a 2026 SS/IF/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends IMG Academy. Nice young athletic build with some present strength and plenty more to come. 6.98 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has good first step quickness and shows lateral range, soft hands at the ball, plays well on the move and can change arm angles, good arm strength and carry when his feet are planted, has the athleticism to stay in the middle of the field. Also worked out in the outfield and showed his athleticism and arm strength well, has an idea with his footwork and the arm works well. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread straight stance with a high hand load and a short stride into contact, throws his hips hard and can get ahead of his hands, has some bat speed, looking to pull, flashed some jump off the barrel when he didn't lose his lower half. Very good athlete who will continue to improve. Excellent student. Named to the West Florida Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
