2025 PG North Indoor Showcase
Alex Armiger is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Pewaukee, WI who attends Arrowhead. A medium frame and build with a higher-set waist. Showed some strength and physicality. Ran a 7.12 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who fielded the ball out in front and works with a clean release, working through the arm swing with a compact arm action. Throws came out well, and he had a clean release with tons of whip. Showed some pretty good arm speed, with throws at 84 mph throughout the round of throws. He took BP as a right-handed hitter with a spread base, high-set hands, a higher back elbow, and a deep coiled load. He has a quick move through it, turning hard and showing some whip through contact. He has some feel to be on time and out in front, being able to impact it a bit and drive the ball well to all parts of the field. He uses the whole field with a shorter and compact stroke. Produced an 84 mph exit velocity during PG DK Testing. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher who worked from the stretch, favoring the first-base side of the rubber. He worked with a full arm action and a full takeaway through the back, with a longer arm action and some whip working through it. He had some looseness to the arm action as well, repeating the actions well. He had a leg lift at the belt, working knee-to-core with some push down the slope showing good drop-and-drive mechanics. His fastball worked 81-84 mph with some life and run to it, flashing sinker traits when he located arm-side. He showed a changeup in the mix as well, with some depth, around 74 mph. Great student.
