2024 Northwest Uncommitted Prospect Showcase
Will Kytta is a 2026 RHP/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Tumwater, WA who attends A G West Black Hills. Features a medium sized build with room to add. Ran a 7.44 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed an aggressive approach to the baseball. Used a slightly deep and off to the side reception. Creates good momentum into throws but needs a couple extra shuffles to get them off. Quality arm strength (T86) where throws were made downhill and mostly accurate to the bag. At the plate, sits in a wider base and uses a leg lift trigger. Stays on his backside and shows some early length to the swing. Barrel works on a slight uphill path through. Noticeable quickness to the hands/barrel. Strong lower-half. Big intent to each swing. Produced hard LD barrels to all fields. On the mound, he worked exclusively from the stretch. Chest high knee-lift that comes down with decent engagement in driveleg. Creates good length down the mound while staying on-line. Arm shows a longer path out the glove and works up to a higher 3/4 slot. FB showed normal 4S shape with tendency to leak it to the armside. Mixed in a straighter CH with some depth and a developing slurvy SL he showed quality feel for. Named to Top Prospects List.
