Reynaldo Rojas is a 2027 RHP/IF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Lynnwood, WA who attends O'Dea. Features a medium-sized build with room to add. Ran a 7.39 60-yd dash. In the INF, displayed developing actions. Heavier feet that play with some hesitancy in the approach and field it flatfooted. A bit tall with upperhalf in fielding posture. Glove shows some reach/stab at reception. Intent to get off throws quick. Uses a longer arm action where throws showed avg. strength and 50/50 accuracy. At the plate, sits in slightly open stance. Shorter stride while using a toe tap trigger where the foot gets down early. Smaller takeback of the hands with a bit of a wrap of the barrel. Path works flatter through the zone that maintains through contact which causes some pull off. Inconsistet timing but found himself later in his BP round with a couple soft liners back up the middle of the field. Avg. bat/hand speed for his level and maintains lower-half balance throughout his swing. On the mound, showed a repeatable operation. Side steps into a hip high knee lift. Smaller driveleg engagement. More tall/fall type. Smaller stride down the mound. More north/west rotator. Longer AA that works up to a higher 3/4 slot. His FB showed some downhill angle in the mid 70s. Showed confidence in a higher spin breaker for the velo at 63-65 that varied in shape. Also flashed a few CHs in the upper 60s that had quality fading action.
