Jackson Roy is a 2029 SS/2B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Natick, MA who attends Belmont Hill. Medium lean athletic build. 7.07 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has good footwork and stays balanced well coming to the ball, good glove position and fields the ball cleanly, solid back hand feel, can shorten his footwork in to his throws, has nice young arm strength and made accurate throws from a lower slot. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium base with a short and well controlled stride into contact, short and direct swing with a line drive swing and good feel for the barrel, middle of the field contact, bat speed will continue to come with additional strength and physical maturity. Excellent student.
