Carlos Pereira is a 2026 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Newark, NJ who attends Roselle Catholic. Primary third baseman, gets the glove down on-time with a fairly clean funnel and transfer process. Limited lateral range and adjustability. Delivered accurate throws and recorded arm strength up to 73 mph across the diamond. At first base, works uphill a bit on the transfer and breaks into a medium arm stroke. Accurate throws across with arm strength up to 70 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even base with tight hands and a slightly hunched posture. Gets rotational at times. Utilizes a lift-and-replace trigger for timing. Worked into an uphill bat path and produced consistent contact to all parts of the field. Developing feel for the barrel with some power potential. Recorded an exit velocity of 70 mph. Ran a 7.80 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
