Will Karolak is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Grosse Pointe Park, MI who attends Cranbrook Schools. A taller and lean build with a slender frame. Long levers throughout with some projection that remains moving forward. Ran a 6.90 60-yard dash. Primary infielder who has some energy and pace to the actions. He threw from a lower slot and had good arm strength to it, being able to be accurate across the diamond with some projection that remains. Threw 76 mph across the diamond during his reps and was able to flash the glove well. The glove and funel were quality and allowed him to get through the round with traits to like on display. He took BP as a right-handed hitter with a pre-loaded setup, upright & even in the box. He pulled hard through the swing with some strength to impact when he syncs up. He had a toe-tap trigger and was able to drive the ball all over the field during his round of BP swings. Showed some middle-of-the-field swings with his best impact. He took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher, working from the stretch with a three-quarters release and a long and loose arm action, showing some decent arm speed. He had a knee-to-chest leg lift with a feel to land on-line, moving down the slope, showing some extension to the plate. He threw the fastball in the zone, working the 75-77 mph range, grabbing 79 mph as well. He was able to control the heater amd. compete during his outing. The breaking ball was in the mid-60s with 11-5 shape and depth, being a quality offering. It was one he could land for strikes and use to combat the opposition -- keeping them guessing. He repeated the delivery and flashed good stuff for a quality outing on the mound. Good student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
