2025 PG High School All State Select Championship (28-29 Grads)
Adam Brockmyer is a 2029 1B/RHP/OF with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from El Dorado Hills, CA who attends Oak Ridge. Big and physical build especially in the lower half with big strength potential. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread and slightly open stance with a inward toe tap timer, swings hard, has strong hands and a heavy barrel at contact, will occasionally get to his front side early, used the whole field with some power to the gaps. 8.50 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, works to get around the ball and fields it close to his body, good direction into his throws with some idea on his footwork, makes accurate soft throws. Also worked out in the outfield but is much better suited for first base at present. Took a turn on the mound, works from a standard wind up with a high 3/4's arm slot, hides the ball well. Fastball was in the mid 70's and topped out at 77 mph with some sinking life, threw strikes with his fastball. Also threw a soft 12/6 downer curveball with some occasional depth.
