Jory Wardlaw is a 2027 OF/RHP/MIF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends Hiram High School. Primary OF with medium sized frame and good athleticism. Has good strength in frame already. Works to the ball wel land takes quality angels with a quick first step. Clean gather into his throws getting it out with pace. Throws from a higher slotted release and throws had good carry behind them with accuracy. Was up to 81 from the outfield. Also played infield but looked most comfortable and best in the outfield. Was up to 78 from across the diamond. Also pitched throwing from a mid 3/4 slot. Fastball worked up to 78 with good life out of the hand locating it well on the outer half. Also flashed a curve with some depth. Also ran a 6.86 sixty. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base. Showed a good flat bat path with good above average bat speed and twitch in the hands. Profiles well as a contact gap to gap hitter who can impact the baseball when on it and on time. Good Student. Named to the Top Prospect List.
