Hunter Beck is a 2024 RHP/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Faith Lutheran. Features a medium build with strength present. Primary right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery into tall and fall mechanics. Stays under control down the mound with the ability to manipulate the body angle. Throws from a submarine slot. Will occasionally work closer to sidearm. Arm slot and crossfire landing are extremely deceptive. Fastball worked up to 78 mph with heavy sinking action. Pounds the zone and generates weak ground balls often. Pairs it with a sweeping slider at 61-64 mph. Big horizontal movement misses bats often. Tough, uncomfortable matchup for any hitter. Worked out on the infield. Showcased a patient approach to ground balls. Range profiles well for third base. Solid glove actions work through hops. Throws with intent across the diamond. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an open stance with a bent upper half. Swings on a long, lofted path. Looks to drive balls to the pullside. Still developing consistent barrel accuracy and extension out front. Ran a 7.96 60-yard dash. Good student.
