Mason Porter is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Gilbert, AZ who attends Highland. Features a taller longer-limbed build with some quality athleticism. Ran a 6.98 60-yd dash. In the OF, exhibited strong actions. Quality initial approach showing light quick feet and overall body control. Reception was slightly off to the but maintained momentum through while showing a quick exchange. Arm showed well as well where he made downhill accurate throws to the bag flashing some above avg. strength for his level. At the plate, he operates in a wider base with loose hanging hands over homeplate. Uses a toe tap trigger with some drift onto his front side. Flashes of some above avg. bat speed and strength for his level. More of a lofty swing path with intent to catch it out front and to do damage to the pullside. Was on-barrel the majority of his BP round. Swings translated into gameplay where he found multiple LD barrels. Also impressed on the mound showing an athletic low-effort operation. Arm worked loose/continuous to a lower 3/4 slot. Used a bigger leg lift that added some deception. Balanced throughout with a smaller sit but drifts well down the mound. Ran the FB up to 83 where it showed natural running action with flashes of ride up in the zone. Mixed in a depthy CH in the low 70s he killed good spin on. Also threw a couple of slower sweepy SLs in the upper 60s. Avg. overall command during his outing. Named to the Top Prospects List.
