Chase Schimpf is a 2026 C/ with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Waukesha, WI who attends Kettle Moraine. Primary catcher with a medium sized frame. Starts out with an even set out of the crouch. Pops up quickly out of the crouch with a quick transition. Made throws with good accuracy and strength behind them. Gains ground through the plate and works downhill well. Recorded a 2.14 pop time. Also ran a 7.25 sixty. Right-handed hitter with a medium base and even feet. High hand set with a big bat wiggle before the load. Has a level swing and rotates well at the top half of things. Hips will leak out early at times and is almost too quick but still has an idea and has good bat speed. Could really impact it to pull with strength out in front at times. Produced a high exit velo of 89. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
