Brandon Cummer is a 2026 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Dubuque, IA who attends Wahlert Catholic. Medium, high-waisted frame with present athleticism and plenty of room for additional strength. Primary outfielder, attacks the baseball with urgency and fields it properly off of his front foot. Carries his momentum well into release, getting rid of the ball quickly while keeping it online. Recorded arm strength up to 79 mph from the outfield. Secondary left-handed pitcher, utilizes a full wind-up delivery from the middle of the rubber with a leg lift just above the belt. Separates the hands at the chest and into a deeper arm path. Releases the baseball from a low three-quarters slot. Sinks into his back hip well and drives directly down the slope. Fastball showed short arm-side run and lived at the bottom of the strike zone, ultimately peaking at 77 mph. Mixed in a well-replicated changeup with arm-side fade and a sweeping breaker that had some tilt to it. Showed feel for all three pitches. Left-handed hitter, starts in an even stance with a high back elbow. Utilizes a hanging leg lift trigger for timing before working into an uphill bat path. Has some quickness in the hands and strength in the barrel when generating impact out in front. Produced consistent contact to all parts of the field during batting practice. Posted an exit velocity of 74 mph. Ran a 7.36 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the 2024 Midwest Uncommitted Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
