2025 PG Class of 2028 All-American Games
Reid Bostic is a 2028 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Nashville, TN who attends Lipscomb Academy. Tall and strong young athletic build with room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow stance with a deep hand push back and medium leg raise, swings hard and creates very good bat speed, showed big impact when his timing worked, has some violence and head movement in his swing but can't mistake the raw bat speed. Primary shortstop on defense, has very good arm strength and is accurate from lower slots, max effort thrower with extra steps into release, best playing on the move. Also worked out in the outfield, moves well to the ball and has some actions to go with his strong arm. Has run a 7.08 sixty at PG showcases. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a cross body delivery and a 3/4's arm slot, short stride down the mound. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with some late tailing life, slider had some spin and depth to it. Reliever profile with some deception to his delivery. Very good student. Named to the PG Class of 2028 All-American Games Top Prospect List.
