Cash Melville is a 2027 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-6 145 lb. frame from Kennewick, WA who attends Liberty Christian. A more compact build with a higher waist and length in the lower half. Ran an 8.77 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman who used his long lower half to his advantage. Made throws across that were accurate to the bag. Got to a fielding position and made the throws. A left-handed hitter with a wide base and high-set hands. Keeps the back elbow up. Had a quick move forward with his feet on his stride. Showed feel for the barrel and strength in his build, making loud contact pull-side. Gets his hands extended and out front to drive it. Also was able to work the opposite-field gap as well. Picked up a nice double in-game as well. Took to the mound as a left-handed pitcher who worked out of the stretch. Had a high leg lift. Worked from a higher three-quarters arm slot with medium arm action. Repeats the actions well on the mound. Mixed pitches well, showing the fastball and then dropping in a 1-7 shaped breaking ball to keep hitters off-balance. Changeup in the mix as well with a little bit of depth. It's a developing three-pitch mix that has room to improve as he adds strength.
