Davis Grunwell is a 2026 2B/RHP/SS with a 5-7 110 lb. frame from Glenmoore, PA who attends Downingtown West Campus. Smaller, slender frame with a high waist and plenty of time to physically mature. Recorded a 8.65 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary second baseman with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set. Displayed good lateral range to either side, a clean funnel out in-front and the ability to change arm angles when necessary. Recorded developing arm strength up to 68 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch in this look. Incorporates a lower leg lift into balance and shorter stride out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the mid-60s for the duration of his outing and topped out at 66 mph from a varied three-quarters arm slot. Strike thrower with developing command of the strike zone, mixed in slower, big breaking curveball as secondary option with gradual depth to it. Will continue to improve with mechanical refinements and additional velocity. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, upright stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Displayed consistent bat-to-ball skill with slightly downhill swing path and some feel for the barrel. Middle-of-the field approach with best impact there, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
