Colin Mitchell is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 5-11 178 lb. frame from Edina, MN who attends Breck. Recorded a 7.51 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium frame with some thickness to it. Left-handed pitcher works from an above the belt leg lift and extends down through it well with a longer arm action and takeaway with a fuller arm circle through release. Delivers from a high three- quarter arm slot. Has a clue on the mound. The fastball (2014 RPM) was 81-83 with some arm-side run to it with a good feel to locate it. Located on the arm-side third of the zone quite well. The upper 70s change-up (1856 RPM) had some straight depth to it. The low-70s curveball (1959 RPM) had some depth to it with more of an 11-5 shape. Mixing pitches pretty well with feel to sequence to right-handed hitters. Secondary outfielder fields off the front foot with a longer release with more of a high three- quarter release with some strength. Left-handed hitter starts from a wide base and a slightly open stance with even hands and a low back elbow, utilizes a small toe tap trigger. Good hand and bat speed with some barrel control. Hands work straight down to the baseball with a solid hip turn. Exciting player with good upside. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
