2025 PG Underclass All-American Games
James Wasson is a 2027 RHP/1B with a 6-5 220 lb. frame from Hinsdale, IL who attends Nazareth Academy. Long and lean extra tall build with lots of physical projection remaining. Works exclusively from the stretch from the first base side of the rubber, big coil into his back leg over the rubber, full long 3/4's arm stroke with some cross fire angle on release, lands closed out front. Fastball topped out at 90 mph early, gets nice sink and run when it's in the zone. Got on the side of his breaking ball consistently for a sweeping shape, also flashed a change up. Still developing consistency in his command and release, difficult mechanics for someone his age and size to repeat. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
