Marcus Crespo is a 2027 C/3B, SS, OF with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends Taravella HS. Recorded an 8.20 second 60-yard dash time. Young frame and build with plenty of room and time to add strength. Primary catcher who worked out from shortstop and outfield. Graded out best from the outfield where he fields off to the side and has a whippy arm action. Accuracy into the infield on a hop with some carry out of the hand. Projectable actions at shortstop with some feel to move the glove hand around. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Line drive swing plane with a middle of the field approach. Glides with the front foot into contact and best contact came on a line up the middle. Great student.
