Mark Gregato is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-2 176 lb. frame from Newmarket, ON who attends Bill Crothers. Large, broad shouldered frame with long limbs and a lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.88 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, easy approach to the ball and moves to spots well, sound fundamentals with nice direction and momentum through the ball, lower slot on throws with some present accuracy, carry on throws will continue to develop. Also pitched, coiled leg lift into balance point, longer stride coming down to strike foot. Loose and easy three-quarters arm action with some effort at release, fastball topped out at 78 mph with cutting action to it, will continue to refine a consistent release point. Curveball showed bigger shape up to 56 mph, tends to slow on its release. Left-handed hitter, begins with a very wide base and utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing moving into contact. Linear path through the zone with a full stroke. Upper body dominant swing, shows ability to work the other way, full finish through the ball, can implement additional lower half into swing. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
