Andrew Marino is a 2027 C/1B/OF with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Merrick, NY who attends Sanford H Calhoun. Lean young build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.54 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has some quickness in his lower half, shifts his feet well and gets out front with his footwork throwing, compact arm action and release, makes accurate throws with developing arm strength. Also worked out at first base. Right handed hitter, starts from a straight stance with a low leg raise trigger, inside swing path wth mid field to opposite field contact. Would benefit from additional strength in all areas of the game. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
