Gavin Huff is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-6 140 lb. frame from Chatsworth, CA who attends Chaminade College Preparatory. Small frame that showed well from outfield with athletic footwork and sound glove technique. The transfer and release is quick with short arm action and developing arm strength. At the dish, he sets up with narrow base and open stance. There's a moderate leg kick load with gains tons of separation. The bat path is slightly lofted with approach geared through the middle. He flashed above average bat speed with decent barrel control. On the mound, that works with standard leg kick and release out of a three-quarters slot. There's present quickness in the arm action. He generates quality arm side run at time to pair with a depthy 11-5 curveball. The command of the two pitch mix was solid throughout the outing. 7.27 60-yard. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
