Brian Murray is a 2026 C/2B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Methuen, MA who attends The Winchendon. Medium, square shouldered frame with some present strength throughout. Ran a 5.31 40-yard dash. Primary catcher, started with one knee down behind the plate, longer process coming out of crouch but shows quickness to upper half actions, effort on throws but shows arm strength and accuracy down to second base, can quicken release overall. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, even stance and utilizes a hover leg lift trigger. Rotational swing with movement to hands pre-pitch, shows quickness to them and does a nice job of getting the barrel out front. Incorporates physical strength well, ball jumps off of the barrel when squared and produces quality bat speed at present. Best contact back up the middle in this look. Excellent student.
