Owen Roether is a 2025 IF/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Beavercreek, OH who attends Beavercreek. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. 7.46 runner in the sixty. Primary infielder on defense with a third base profile, has good arm strength with on line carry, gathers well and has good lower half actions into his throws. Right handed hitter, starts from a barrel wrap load with a simple leg lift and stride, long and extended full swing, has some jump off the barrel but will have to shorten his approach to have much barrel adaptability. Also pitched and is a two-way prospect. Has a long and loose off line arm action with good extension out front. Fastball worked consistently in the low 80's and topped out at 83 mph with occasional cutting action. Throws both a slurve type breaking ball and a change up, gets some downer depth on the breaking ball, kills the spin well on the change up. Projects well on the mound and has some feel already. Outstanding student. Named to the Ohio Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
