2025 PG California Workout Showcase (Sunday)
Benjamin Geller is a 2027 2B with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from La Canada, CA who attends La Canada HS. Started the event off clocking a 7.44 60-yard dash. A primary second baseman who moved well laterally in his defensive workout session showing a clean glove. Made the plays and showed a quick transfer with accuracy across the diamond on his throws. Arm speed is developing clocking a 79. Traditional, balanced stance at the plate, slightly open and high back elbow. Short stride with a small leg kick trigger into contact with a compact swing and an up the middle approach. Showed decent barrel control and more bat speed will come with natural growth and strength.
