Brett Cassan is a 2024 3B/C with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from West Columbia, SC who attends White Knoll. Primary third baseman with a large, strong, and physically mature build. Recorded a 7.68 second sixty-yard dash time. Works through the ball in the infield with feel for the glove and the ability to filled out front with two-handed funnel. Quick transfer to throw that produced throws with carry and accuracy across the infield at 71-mph. Ability to complete throws from multiple arm slots. A secondary catcher, displayed a quick exchange, and accuracy on his throws to second at a good 2.06 pop-time. Throws recorded at 69-mph. Stays low while receiving pitches, working up to the ball with strength in his hands. Right-handed hitter who deploys an open stance and hands low outside his chest. Twitch in the box, lets his hips lead his hands, fueling his swing. Bat head takes a linear path through the zone that creates gap-to-gap contact. Power will continue to develop with added strength.
