2023 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Sean Unnerstall is a 2025 C/1B/3B with a 5-10 225 lb. frame from Monroe, NC who attends Parkwood HS. Started off the event clocking a 8.18 60-yard dash. Unnerstall is primary catcher that received from a side-saddled stance with active receiving hands and average quickness out of the crouch. Displayed a semi-quick release and accurate throws up to 65 mph from behind the dish during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an even base with a high,tight hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Slightly elongated swing path with developing bat speed and decent feel for the barrel. Showed mostly pull-side contact that will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.
