James Nydegger is a 2024 OF/ with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Mount Carmel. Recorded a 6.90 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with athleticism. Primary outfielder, moves well to and through it. Charges it with one-handed fielding off the front foot and a three- quarter arm slot on the throws. Crow-hops into throws with a shorter arm action with accuracy and good flight. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wider base and open feet with high hands and a high back elbow, utilizes an inward leg lift as he coils and strides into the swing. Has looseness to the wrists and shows some bat speed with good balance and creates leverage from the lower half. Drives the ball in the air and can work uphill to it. Best swings when he can drive it out front and extend through contact. Best contact coming to the left-center field gap. Intriguing player with high upside. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
