Jasper Sarkany is a 2026 LHP/1B with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Maple Valley, WA who attends Tahoma Senior. Has a slender build with some size, long levers showing in a larger frame. Ran a 7.76 60-yard dash. A primary left-handed pitcher who used the long levers to his advantage. Starts with a hybrid delivery, starting in the "stretch" but then stepping back into the throw. Deliberate actions in his delivery but gets good extension in the front side as he moves downhill. It's a pretty fluid delivery overall, hiding the ball well in his arm action that could be a little deceptive at times. He repeated the delivery and projects to keep adding strength moving forward. His fastball was a pitch he commanded and paired well to set up his breaking ball. He showed a feel for a good curveball with downer action that had a bigger break that was a 2-8 shape. A left-handed hitter who starts with an upright stance. Keeps his hands set high and a lower back elbow. There's some quickness to his actions with the feet starting slightly open and closing up as he loads with his leg. He was able to produce firm contact up the middle during his round, getting the barrel out in front as he rotates, looking to drive it. He was able to get extended and drive the ball to centerfield during his BP round. Picked up a nice double to left field in-game as well. Worked out at first base, getting to the ball to make the plays. Throws across the infield to third were on target, getting them to the bag accurately. Excellent student.
